At the Cannes Film Festival, model Irina Shayk wore a black leather outfit that only covered her chest with two narrow straps.
Some call it the “coolest look of the festival”, others simply “terrible”: Model Irina Shayk, 37, caused discussions with her spectacular outfit at the Cannes Film Festival.
Born in Russia, she appeared at the premiere of the film “Firebrand” in a black leather ensemble that left almost the entire upper body exposed and drew attention to her perfectly toned stomach. Only two narrow bands covered her chest. She combined the look with a diamond necklace, hair styled strictly backwards and minimalistic make-up.
“We are speechless”
Fans on the Internet enthusiastically commented on the performance: “The coolest look of the festival! She deserves a standing ovation”. Another user explained that Shayk “caused the earthquake that wiped out dinosaurs” with her look. The fashion magazine “Cosmopolitan” commented: “We are speechless.”
But the half-naked outfit was not well received everywhere. “She looks better when she picks up her daughter from school,” quipped one fan. Another wrote, “Oh that’s so unflattering!” And: “Her face is great, her body is incredible, her necklace is beautiful – but whatever she is wearing is just terrible.”
