In a new series from cult director Danny Boyle about the Sex Pistols, Jude Law's daughter Iris Law will play a punk icon.

Iris Law (20) is following in the footsteps of her father Jude Law (48, "The Young Pope"): As announced on Wednesday (March 3rd), she was added to the cast of Danny Boyles (64, "Trainspotting") Drama series recorded about the Sex Pistols. In it she will play Soo Catwoman, an icon of the punk scene, who was also known for her special hairstyle: shaved hair with two strands teased into "cat ears" on each side.

The series is based on the memoirs of the Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones (65). Filming for the six episodes began today, Wednesday. In addition to Law, Thomas Brodie-Sangster (30, "Maze Runner") as Malcolm McLaren, the manager of the punk band, and Talulah Riley (35, "Inception") as fashion icon Vivienne Westwood (79) during the series Singer Johnny Rotten (65) being played by Anson Boon. Maisie Williams (23, "Game of Thrones") can also be seen in a supporting role.
