the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase was a small event since it is the first time that Disney has organized a conference exclusively dedicated to video games (although it is part of the D23 events in a more global way). With all the games Marvel which are currently in development, we understand why a conference dedicated to Disney games made sense, even if it was not rich in surprises. We also expected to see the game there Iron Man, but it was not for this time. However, the rumor is growing.
An announcement before the end of the year?
Motive is doing iron man after dead space. A team of former Shadow of Mordor devs will make Black Panther.

The very serious site Axios first reported that this Iron Man game could have been shown at D23, but as you now know, this was not the case. On the other hand, the site also advanced that this project had been entrusted to one of the Canadian teams of Electronic Arts.
The choice is wide, but the name that stands out first is EA Motive, given that BioWare is far too busy with its own games. This has since been confirmed by the journalist Jeff Grubbwhich states that the studio’s next project is indeed this Iron Man game, after completing Dead Space Remake.
We can understand why, given that EA Motive was able to prove two things with Star Wars Squadrons : its respect and the good treatment of a popular license; and its ability to build flight-based gameplay. Well, we grant you, piloting an X-Wing and the Iron Man armor is a little different, but still.
However, still according to Grubb, even if the game could soon be announced (at the Game Awards?), we wouldn’t see the color of it for a few years. So be patient.
