While the meteorological summer has barely ended and the time for the start of the new school year has come, the French are wondering what temperatures await them in the weeks to come… If the months of July and August this year have turned out much less hot and sunny that what many hoped for – apart from the south of France which has generally been spared from the Var coast to Corsica – everything suggests that summer could play extra time in September 2021.
A heat wave expected after the worst summer that the hexagon has known for seven years ? This is what the weather channel announced: “After much hesitation, digital models stalled in favor an episode of hot weather in France. This episode will be especially marked from Sunday (September 5) to Tuesday (September 7), particularly concerning the regions of the West and South-West.”.
Rainy September, Happy September?
However, if heat wave is visibly preparing to invade France in the coming days, it would seem that this summer break may not last… Indeed, always according to the weather channel: “From Tuesday evening (September 7) or Wednesday (September 8), the weather will turn stormy by the west of our country. These thunderstorms will become widespread in view of the weekend of September 11”.
After that, the air will certainly be rather warm … but wet ! Thunderstorms are expected in both the North and the South of the country and should last until mid-September and more. And with regard to the sun, it will once again have a hard time pointing the tip of its nose… So we just have to hope that the end of September has some nice surprises in store for us!
