Did Reese Witherspoon and Kevin Costner find each other after their divorces? A spokesman for the actress now speaks plainly.
Is it all just a rumor? Reese Witherspoon (47) is apparently not in a relationship with Kevin Costner (68). After there was speculation on social media about a relationship between the two stars, a spokesman for the actress clarified the matter told People magazine: “This story is completely made up and not true.”
Both got divorced this year
The rumor emerged on the X platform (formerly Twitter) in the middle of the week after a user there pointed out that both stars had separated from their respective spouses in recent months.
Witherspoon announced her separation from husband Jim Toth, 53, in March and filed for divorce shortly afterwards. With him she has their son Tennessee (11). Costner and his wife Christine Baumgartner (49) separated in April and filed for divorce in May. The two married in September 2004 and have three teenage children.
Shortly after Witherspoon’s separation from Toth, her management had to deny romance rumors: At the time it was said that the actress was in a relationship with American football star and Gisele Bündchen’s (43) ex-husband (46) Tom Brady. A spokesman said the two had never met.
