On his Instagram account followed by more than 16,000 admirers, the interpreter of Talk to me makes tribute to a certain Guy from whom she learned the tricks of the trade, she who has been singing for 30 years now. “I’m in Paris to sing PIAF and I learned of your departure… You know how much I loved you”she wrote in the preamble, echoing her performance at the Seine Musicale (Paris) on the occasion of an anniversary concert to celebrate the memory of Edith Piaf who died 60 years ago.
Following which, the companion of the Minister of Justice Éric Dupond-Moretti praised his friend. “Your art of giving us confidence, your strength, your tendernessyour outbursts, your real affection for all the artists you looked after and ‘raised’! You were never afraid to give us the means to flourish”, she added.
