Undeniable know-how
Hundreds of munitions, Kalashnikovs and rockets are spread out on the ground. Colonel Idan’s men disassemble these weapons to understand where they come from. “We have weapons made in Gaza. There are Iranian rockets, but also very old Soviet rockets that Russia made, and rockets from North Korea,” Colonel Idan explains to Europe 1.
An eclectic arsenal of ammo, all fired from old, battered RPG 7 models. Some are even patched up with iron clamps. These weapons demonstrate a form of DIY by Hamas but also undeniable know-how.
“It’s not militia equipment. It’s not that of someone who is preparing something in their garden. It’s very well prepared, it requires a lot of funds.
