Israel-Hamas: truce project rejected by the terrorist group, according to Mossad

As the devastating war in the Gaza Strip entered its seventh month, the proposed truce was rejected by Hamas according to Israeli intelligence.

Mossad, the Israeli intelligence service, said on Sunday that Palestinian Hamas had rejected the latest truce plan put on the table a week earlier in Cairo by mediators.

Israel ‘will turn over every stone to bring back Gaza hostages’

The rejection of the proposal submitted by the three countries mediating the negotiation – United States, Egypt and Qatar – shows that the leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Yahya “Sinouar does not want a humanitarian agreement, nor the return of hostages,” said Mossad, in a statement released by the Prime Minister’s office. Sinouar “continues to exploit tensions with Iran” with the aim of “obtaining an escalation in the region,” adds the statement published a few hours after a massive and unprecedented attack by Tehran which launched towards Israel more of 200 drones and missiles, without causing significant damage.

Israel “will continue to work to achieve the objectives of the war against Hamas with all its might, and will turn over every stone to bring back the hostages from Gaza,” the same source added.
