This Thursday morning, Pascal Praud spoke in The Hour of the Pros on the affair which agitates the IEP of Grenoble. Reassembled, the host of CNews did not hide his anger at the silence of the Minister of Higher Education.
A silence that no longer passes. For several months, the IEP of Grenoble has been disturbed by a controversy. Last March, several students, supported by the UNEF took the initiative to post on the walls of the institute the names of two teachers, including Mr. Kinzler, accused of Islamophobia. In class, the latter had expressed reluctance to put Islamophobia, racism and anti-Semitism on the same level. A speech that had provoked the anger of some students. The sanction fell and Professor Klaus Kinzler was suspended for four months. A condemnation that revolts many intellectuals who think that students should also be punished. They call on the Minister of Higher Education, Frédérique Vidal to make a firm decision, which she has not done for the moment. An attitude that annoys Pascal Praud.
Pascal Praud lets go
This morning, Pascal Praud opened his show on CNews with a plea that attacks Frédérique Vidal and his silence in the face of this affair. “Madame Vidal, Minister of Universities is absent subscribers. ‘Courage, let’s run away ‘is his course of action“, recited the host, who salutes the approach of Jean-Michel Blanquer who “has stepped up to the plate when it is not his ministry”. For the Minister of National Education, “the priority is not to punish the professor but to punish the students who had organized a lynching campaign against him”.

She is on vacation, I don’t know how to what is it for … “, launched Pascal Praud who could not regain his calm in the face of the attitude of the Minister of Higher Education. “The Minister of Education Madame Vidal who is useless calls everyone to get to work in serenity (…) Madame Vidal who is of no use specifying that this suspension did not fall within the recommendations of the inspectors general commissioned during the crisis (…) The relations between a teacher and his direction are the responsibility of the employer and a member of his staff, therefore Pontius Pilate, I am useless.
