The PS5 Pro is being talked about again and this time an extremely well-informed insider comes to confirm everything and even adds a few details, notably a release date which is gradually becoming clearer.

The PS5 Pro would indeed be a reality, and if we didn’t really doubt that, the rest of the rumors had enough to give us doubt, especially since the sources are numerous each time. However, while new elements were shared a few hours ago (at the time of writing), a very well-informed insider has confirmed everything and even reaffirmed the release date. Is this time the right one?
New rumors about the PS5 Pro, “it’s all true”!
You certainly know him, his name often hangs around when we talk about information from behind the scenes, the very informed Tom Henderson came to comment on the latest rumors concerning the PS5 Pro. Recently, a YouTube channel called Moore’s Law is Dead revealed new information on Sony’s ultra-powerful PS5 Pro. We were then announced a bike 45% more efficient than the previous one, Ray Tracing capabilities 2 to 4 times greater than the standard PS5, 33.5 teraflops under the hood and a lot of dreams concerning the use of AI for the graphical improvement. Data that makes you a little dizzy and that promises a fairly extraordinary machine and you know what?
According to Tom Henderson, “it’s all true” ! The informant claims to be able to confirm everything that was said. He states that sources close to the matter and wishing to remain anonymous have corroborated everything that has been said. He also adds that this new leak of information would come from a PlayStation portal dedicated to developers which would have been sent to a large number of studios during the week and which would therefore have ended up under the eyes of a few insiders . In addition to giving more weight to this new information, Henderson adds a layer and once again affirms the release date of the console. According to him, the PS5 Pro would be planned for this year and everything would be decided by the end of the year. “Holiday 2024”, which roughly means around September/December, to cast an extremely wide net. A release date which is not yet completely precise, but we are seeing it more and more clearly. We can imagine that if the PS5 Pro arrives it will already be ready for the Christmas holidays, so can we suggest a release by next November? Possible.
If this is the case, it could therefore be that Sony will activate its communication shortly, the console could certainly be highlighted some time before one of the two big events of the year so that the games can shine by showing us gameplay captured on PS5 Pro. It’s a possibility. Or, Sony could choose to do all of its demonstrations on its own from the top of its own events, which will certainly be the case.
