Of the motherboards who try to innovate while remaining at low cost? This is the “summer-winter” collection from ASRock!

Three new motherboards from the Taiwanese manufacturer who is taking the opportunity to reconnect with the policy of low prices from its beginnings, but which does not neglect the aesthetic aspect.

Two small prices at Intel

First of all, it is a well-endowed card on paper since it is the DDR5 version of a DDR4 product that we already know. The B760M-HDV/M.2 is logically designed around the LGA1700 socket.

Scheduled for 12e and 13e generations of Intel processors, it should be compatible with future Raptor Lake Refresh. It has DDR5 slots, unfortunately only two for DDR5-7200+. No PCIe Gen 5 of course and only two M.2 ports, but 2.5 GbE Ethernet network and a “very soft” price around 115 euros.

The second Intel card is still for LGA1700, but with an H610 chipset as its name H610M-HDV/M.2+D5 clearly indicates. A name that also indicates the presence of DDR5 with two slots whose speed varies according to the generation of the CPU: 5,600 in 13e gen or 4,800 in 12e gen. The RJ45 remains in 2.5 GbE, but the price drops further to 90 euros.

And one from AMD… but in AM4

Finally, the third and last card announced by ASRock for this new salvo, the B550M Pro SE invites us to change dairy by going to AMD, but not for Ryzen 5000.

Indeed, the B550 chipset is only compatible with the AM4 for Ryzen 5000 in the best case. We won’t be able to tell you much more since ASRock itself hardly gives any additional information. At most we can emphasize that it is obviously not a question of DDR5, but of DDR4 on the four slots provided.

It should also be noted that there is only one M.2 port in PCIe Gen 4 x4 and it would be logical to find a network controller in 2.5 GbE, but we will have to wait a little longer to be sure and have confirmation of its price which, however, should not exceed 110-120 euros.
