It’s the last Marvel series of the year and its trailer promises action and emotion

Notice to Marvel fans: the last series planned for this year is revealed in a new teaser! Check out the new images from Season 2 of Loki.

The God of Mischief is back soon. After an explosive first trailer, the second season of Loki reveals itself a little more in a new teaser. Thor’s brother, played by Tom Hiddleston, is still working for the TVA (Tribunal des Variations Anachroniques) after the catastrophic events unleashed at the end of the inaugural season.

A new multiversal war is approaching as Sylvie (Sofia Di Martino) has killed “He who remains”, the creator of TVA. Along with Mobius (Owen Wilson), Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku), and a cast of characters new and old, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) and Miss Minutes.

Through his many trips through time and broken timelines, which the new teaser unveiled by Marvel shows us well, the God of Mischief will also be in search of a truth about his true nature: can he really access free will? and to a glorious purpose?

Loki will have to face new characters, like OB, a TVA technician, played by the brilliant Ke Huy Quan (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Everything Everywhere All At Once). Other actors join the cast of the Marvel series such as Rafael Casal (Blindspotting) and Kate Dickie (Game of Thrones).

  • Rocket and Loki have the same voice! Meeting with Alexis Victor, VF of Bradley Cooper and Tom Hiddleston:

Despite his legal troubles – implicating him in a case of strangulation, assault and harassment denounced by his ex-girlfriend and relayed in an investigation by RollingStone – Jonathan Majors is still in the cast of the second season of Loki. He embodied “The one who remains” but also Kang, the super villain in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and proclaimed great antagonist of phase V of the MCU.

The last Marvel series of the year!

Important information for Marvel fans, Loki will be the last MCU live-action series of the year. The historic double strike of screenwriters and actors has undermined the plans of Disney and Marvel Studios, pushing them to postpone the releases of their next films and series, such as Echo, which should have been released at the end of 2023, or Daredevil: Born Again, whose filming has been put on hold.

As explained The Hollywood Reporter, Echo, X-Men ’97, and Agatha: Darkhold Diaries have been shifted to 2024 in the timeline. The future is more uncertain for Daredevil: Born Again with Charlie Cox, Ironheart with Dominique Thorne (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever) and Wonder Man with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

Season 2 of Loki will be available on Disney+ from October 6th.
