Jaguar is updating its i-Pace electric SUV, with a new version that scales smoothly.

No major changes in sight therefore, but some small purely aesthetic subtleties for the 100% electric vehicle of the British manufacturer.

Jaguar reveals the future of its i-Pace

Formalized in 2018, the Jaguar i-Pace will soon benefit from a little makeover. The electric SUV will thus display some small aesthetic changes, including a new grille, and a small spoiler at the tailgate.

The automaker will also allow buyers to opt for a new black roof, as well as the finish Black Pack (from now on standard on all versions from R-Dynamic SE onwards) to benefit from the mirror caps or even the contours of the black grille. Minor changes therefore for this “ new “i-Pace SUV, including with regard to the interior, which should not offer the slightest significant change.

Nothing too alarming in the end according to the manufacturer, who takes care to recall that his SUV has won more than 90 awards, including World Car Design of the Year and World Car of the Year in 2019.

The increasingly electric Jaguar

As for the engine, again, this refreshed version of the Jaguar i-Pace will not offer the slightest evolution. There will thus be a 100% electric block developing a total power of 400 hp, for a range flirting with 470 km thanks to a 90 kWh battery.

On the charging side, a 100 kW charger can provide up to 127 km of autonomy in just 15 minutes. Via a 7 kW Wallbox, one hour of charging provides up to 35 km of autonomy, while full charging takes just under 13 hours.

Almost two years ago, Thierry Bolloré, CEO of the Jaguar Land Rover group, announced that the brand would reborn as a purely electric luxury brand, with a spectacularly beautiful new portfolio of emotionally captivating designs and pioneering next-generation technologies “.

The strategy Reimagine of the group still plans to make Jaguar a 100% electric manufacturer from 2025.
