James Denton looks back on his injury, “it’s really frustrating”

The show was also marked by the absence of one of the most anticipated candidates: James Denton. International star having notably played in Desperate Housewives, he had to be present on the set alongside his partner, Candice Pascal. But because of a injury just three days before the first show was taped, he was unable to perform on set.

The cameras went behind the scenes of the program, and asked James Denton about how he felt: “It’s really frustratingI feel like I’m causing problems for you all, and what’s more, everyone is so nice to me.” Touching words, which show the actor’s strong desire to join the other candidates and perform on the stage of Dance with the stars. Julien Chapero, in charge of casting for the program, also explains that for James Denton, the situation is very difficult to live with: “He doesn’t take it very well James, he’s an adorable guy, he’s super nice, so he blames himself a lot.”

His partner in the show, Candice Pascal, also explained herself in another sequence, giving more details on the injury from which the actor suffers: “He tore his hamstring. Normally it’s a month off.
