Finally he can laugh again

After his serious illness, Jamie Foxx can laugh again. In Los Angeles he was in a good mood at an awards ceremony.
Award for his contributions to integrative stories
Before the ceremony in Los Angeles, the Oscar winner posed for photos with his colleagues Jurnee Smollett (37), Courtney B. Vance (63) and Nia Long (53). The trio then presented him with the award on stage. The award recognized his production company Foxxhole Productions’ continued efforts to bring inclusive narratives to the screen. The Hollywood star beamed as he accepted the award. He then posed extensively for the photographers. Jamie Foxx wore an all-black ensemble consisting of a Dolce & Gabbana jacket, black turtleneck, and black pants. He paired his elegant look with sunglasses and black leather shoes.
The awards ceremony came almost a year after the actor was hospitalized due to a “medical complication.” It is not known exactly what Foxx suffered from. The 56-year-old was admitted to hospital on April 11, 2023 and had to be treated there. On May 3, 2023, the star spoke out again for the first time on his Instagram page to assure fans that he was in the healing process and was grateful for their support.
He later emphasized that he was never blind or paralyzed, as some had suspected. “I went through something I thought I would never go through,” he explained on Instagram in July 2023. “I know a lot of people were waiting for an update or wanted to hear it, but to be honest, I didn’t want you to see me like that.” He continued: “I didn’t want you to see my tubes coming out and me trying to figure out if I was going to make it.” He went “to hell and back.”

Recently there was only good news from Jamie Foxx. In August 2023, he said he finally felt like himself again. He returned to the camera in early 2024. The actor was spotted with co-star Cameron Diaz (51) on the set of the film “Back in Action” in Atlanta, Georgia. On March 17, Foxx has another chance to win a prize. The 56-year-old has been nominated multiple times at the NAACP Image Awards. He is nominated as best actor for the film “War of the Undertaker” and as best supporting actor for “They Cloned Tyrone”. “Story Ave,” on which he is a producer, is also nominated for best independent film.
