Jamie Foxx: This is how the actor remembers his late sister

In late October, Jamie Foxx announced the death of his sister. Now the singer and actor has set up a fund in her honor.

Jamie Foxx (52, "Ray") is founding a fund in honor of his late sister DeOndra Dixon with co-founder and CEO of the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, Michelle Sie Whitten. The singer and actor announced the establishment of a virtual fashion show, as reported by the US magazine "People".

The evening also included a tribute to Dixon, who died in October and who had Down syndrome herself. Stars like Eric Dane (48, "Euphoria"), Matt Dillon (56, "Crazy About Mary") and music producer Quincy Jones (87) took part in the "Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show".

DeOndra Dixon was 36 years old. Foxx mourned his deceased sister with touching words at the end of October. "My heart broke into a million pieces … my beautiful, loving sister Deondra converted … I say 'converted' because she will always be alive …" he wrote in an Instagram post.
