“True Lies” meeting after almost 30 years: Jamie Lee Curtis met Arnold Schwarzenegger in a dirndl as “Ingeborg from Stuttgart”.

Almost 30 years after their successful film “True Lies”: Arnold Schwarzenegger (76) met Ingeborg from Stuttgart at a charity event. Or rather Jamie Lee Curtis (64). The actress posed in a red and white dirndl and a white flower crown. “Hello, my name is Ingeborg, I come from Stuttgart,” she wrote, alluding to her outfit on Instagram. Apparently that was the most German name and place she could think of. Although you don’t usually walk around in a dirndl in Stuttgart.

Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger attended a charity event to benefit After-School All-Stars together over the weekend. The initiative supports students from underprivileged backgrounds.

Schwarzenegger has long been an ambassador for the organization. “Schwarzenegger loves After-School All-Stars and I love Arnold,” Jamie Lee Curtis wrote on Instagram. She calls her “True Lies” co-star a “GOAT.” As the Greatest of All Time, the greatest of all time.

Curtis illustrated this acronym, which also means goat in English, by cuddling baby goats in a photo. The animals were on site to match the party theme, which was obviously Oktoberfest. Arnold Schwarzenegger wore leather pants and knee socks, but instead of a traditional shirt, the Austrian chose a simple black T-shirt.

Unforgettable in “True Lies”

In 1994, Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared together in “True Lies”. James Cameron’s (69) action comedy was the first film to cost over $100 million. In it, Arnie plays a secret agent who his wife Curtis thinks is a boring computer salesman.

There was already a “True Lies” reunion last year. Schwarzenegger gave a speech as Jamie Lee Curtis immortalized her hand and footprints in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Los Angeles. The “Terminator” star raved about Curtis’ performance in “True Lies” and revealed that it still annoys him to this day when his colleague is referred to as a supporting actress and not a leading actress in the film.
