Jamie Lynn Spears’ autobiography has not yet been published, but short excerpts are already causing horror. Her parents are said to have urged her to have an abortion during her first pregnancy.
Apparently, not only Britney Spears, 39, who was only recently able to free herself from the guardianship of her father, Jamie Spears, 69, has a difficult relationship with her parents: her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, 30, also apparently suffered at home. She “went through hell” when father Jamie and mother Lynne Spears, 69, tried to convince her to have an abortion.

Jamie Lynn Spears’ autobiography “The Things I Should Have Said” will be published in January 2022. In excerpts that are available to the US news portal “TMZ”, the 30-year-old is said to describe events that occurred in 2007. Jamie was 16 years old at the time and pregnant with their first child, daughter Maddie Aldridge, now 13. When she told her parents and her management about it, they reportedly pushed for an abortion or adoption. In addition, they would have done anything to hide Jamie from the public.
People close to them would have “tried to convince me that having a baby at this point in my life is a terrible idea …” It will ruin your career. You are just too young. You don’t know what you are doing. There are pills you can take. We can help you to get this problem under control … I know a doctor, ‘”says a passage in her autobiography. And further: “Everyone around me just wanted to make this ‘problem’ go away.”
She was hidden in a hut
In addition, the phone was taken away from her to prevent her from communicating with people outside of her immediate environment. She wasn’t even allowed to tell her sister about her pregnancy. “I needed her more than ever and she was unable to help me in my most vulnerable time …” she writes. This pain is still deep to this day. The now 30-year-old got into a heated argument with her father, “in which she threw insults around” when he pushed for adoption. But Jamie Lynn prevailed and decided on the baby.
However, she was hidden together with her mother in a hut in the US state of Connecticut, until in June 2008 the birth of her child was announced exclusively in “OK!” magazine. The two would also have celebrated Thanksgiving there, with “Mama wore her disappointment like her favorite jacket.”
