Japanese roguelite Shinonome is coming to PC

The two founders of the studio are not, however, partridges of the year: Kenichi Iwao at the production, has already worked for Capcom and Square Enix on a dozen titles, when Tatsuya Yoshikawa, the artistic director, for his part has mainly worked at Capcom, especially on the Breath of Fire series, which they have in common.

The first game from their new studio will be named shinonome, and will be released in early access in a few days on Steam. The player embodies Yono, a young student who has to escape from a haunted house during the Edo era using the clues and traps at her disposal. In addition to being able to exorcise vengeful spirits, she will be able to use various interactions, such as the natural enmity between certain spirits, which will clash if they meet, but she will also have limited resources, such as food and tools that will run out as you progress. Roguelite requires, the levels are procedurally generated, and the developers promise us a highly replayable title with three distinct game modes from launch.

The early access of this roguelite escape game will begin on November 11 on Steam.
