The Oscar is the most important award in the film industry. Actor Jared Leto has one but has been looking for one for years.

Jared Leto (49, "Suicide Squad") won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2014 for his role in the drama "Dallas Buyers Club". He is the only golden boy of his career so far. All the more bizarre: Leto no longer has it. In "The Late Late Show" by and with TV presenter James Corden (42), the Hollywood star now said that he had "not seen the trophy for a while". She disappeared – and has been for about three years.

Didn't make it into the moving box?

When and where the actor lost his Oscar, he doesn't know. He said it might have happened when he moved within Los Angeles. Since then he has searched his new home "from top to bottom", but the statue has remained lost. Leto takes it with humor. "I hope she is in good hands wherever she is," he told Corden.

The moderator asked incredulously: "Wait a minute. Do you really think someone else has the Oscar?" For Jared, this seems like a plausible option. After all, the film award is "not the kind of thing that someone accidentally throws in the trash".
