Surprising confession from Jared Leto. If the dream factory Hollywood grows over his head, he knows only one way out: into nature.

Actor Jared Leto (49, "Dallas Buyers Club") is a lover of frank words. He bluntly confessed to "Bild am Sonntag" now: "Hollywood is not good for the soul. This industry can eat you up with skin and hair." In order not to drown in the machinery, the Oscar winner has found his own way. Time-outs are of great importance to him.

"If you are creative, it costs you a lot of strength, physically and mentally," said Leto. Therefore, he can only recommend everyone "just to isolate themselves from the world, to disappear into a forest or into the desert". He does such solo tours regularly – especially as he gets older. "It's like a healing water treatment. You come out of this isolation strengthened."
