For years there has been a strange rumor between Jared Leto and Margot Robbie. Did he send her a dead rat on "Suicide Squad"?
It is well known that actor Jared Leto (49) is one of the character mimes who take their role particularly seriously outside of the camera. So even the rumor was not surprising that Leto sent his co-star Margot Robbie (30) a dead rat as a "gift" while the DC adaptation "Suicide Squad" was being made. After all, he embodies the king of all comic psychopaths, the Joker. In a video interview with "GQ", however, the Oscar winner now cleared up this rumor that Robbie himself had started in an interview five years ago.
"I never gave Margot Robbie a dead rat, that's not true." It is more than fascinating, says Leto, how such legends "develop a life of their own". He did send gifts to the native Australian, who played the Joker's equally crazy partner, Harley Quinn, in the film. However, these were much more appetizing than a mouse dead rat: "I found this place in Toronto that sells great vegan cinnamon rolls" – and he did send them to her at regular intervals.
