Actor Hans Sigl competes against Günther Jauch over two rounds. How does the new quiz show “Jauch versus Sigl” work?
From Monday, April 4 (8:15 p.m. on RTL or RTL+), a special duel awaits TV viewers. The quiz legend Günther Jauch (65) competes against the “mountain doctor” Hans Sigl (52). The two TV greats compete over two rounds in a quiz – Sigl relies on the help of four celebrities and confidants.
Help for Hans Sigl
In the opening episode, Sigl is supported by his wife Susanne Sigl, comedian Paul Panzer (50), journalist and moderator Daniel Bröckerhoff (44) and moderator Andrea Kiewel (56). In the second episode, which has the motto “Jauch versus Sigl – The revenge”, comedian Wigald Boning (55), moderator Sophia Thomalla (32), comedian Torsten Sträter (55) and singer Patricia Kelly (52) will be at his side be.
Günther Jauch and his opponents guess for the audience in the studio, which is divided into two halves of the grandstand. The game is played for 50,000 euros. The quiz goes over several rounds and points are earned with every correct answer. In the grand final, these are set and the score can turn again. After the very last question, you will be billed. In the second show “Jauch vs. Sigl – The revenge” (April 11, 8:15 p.m., RTL) there is a showdown. If the revenge was used and the score is 1:1, there is a final round for overall victory.
Another show for Hans Sigl
Hans Sigl is not only in action for RTL for “Jauch vs. Sigl”. In the summer of 2022 there should also be a new entertainment show with him, as “rtl.de” reported. The name of the new format is therefore “The incredibly smartest person in the world”. Prominent figures from a wide variety of fields sit in Hans Sigl’s council chair. The guests should compete in a “humorous, exciting and clever competition”.
The top two celebs advance and face off against another celebrity on the next show. In the end it is clear who is the “incredibly smartest” among them. Presenter Jana Azizi (33) and humorist Pierre M. Krause (45) will assist Hans Sigl on the show.
