Having returned to the forefront in recent years, vinyl sales are increasing year after year. Simple nostalgic impulse or fashion effect – we’ll let you be the judge – this resurgence is doing business for manufacturers, and in particular for JBL, which has decided to launch an affordable Bluetooth vinyl turntable: the Spinner BT.

The Spinner BT consists of a wood fiber base on which an aluminum tray is placed, an arm also in aluminum equipped with a removable cell holder, and a transparent plastic cover. The set measures 15.5 x 43.5 x 36.8 cm and weighs 5.3 kg and has rubber pads to minimize unwanted vibrations.

As a cartridge, JBL included an Audio Technica AT3600L moving magnetic cartridge. The plate is driven by a motor and a belt system. It is possible to change the speed using the buttons on the front. The Spinner BT can thus play 33 and 45 rpm records.

The turntable is primarily intended to be used via Bluetooth. It is thus possible to connect it to a portable speaker, a soundbar or headphones or earphones to enjoy your vinyls. The Spinner also supports the aptX HD codec. Two analog RCA connectors are still included if you want to connect wired speakers. A phono preamplification stage completes the connection part.

Ready for the end-of-year holidays, the SpinnerBT turntable is already available in orange or gold finish at the price of €399.99.
