(Boursier.com) — JCDecaux SA (Euronext Paris: DEC), the world leader in outdoor advertising, announces that its subsidiary JCDecaux Portugal has just renewed its contract with Sonae Sierra, a leader in the management and operation of shopping centers in Portugal and in the Autonomous Regions of Madeira and the Azores, for 10 years.
More than 20 years after winning the first contract in 1999, JCDecaux now offers 100% digital coverage inside 17 Sonae Sierra shopping centers, thanks to the installation of 231 screens. This network will be supplemented by display furniture, 2m(2) and Senior 8m(2), positioned in outdoor areas such as parking access.
The Sonae Sierra shopping centers covered by this contract welcomed 160 million visitors in 2019 and cover the largest cities in Portugal, particularly in the Lisbon metropolitan area (notably Colombo, Vasco da Gama, Cascais Shopping), the metropolitan area from Porto (Norte Shopping) as well as in Vila Nova de Gaia, Madeira, Matosinhos, Guimarães, Coimbra, Maia, Leiria, Viana do Castelo, Ponta Delgada (Azores), Portimão, Covilhã and Albufeira.
