Guest of the morning of CNEWS this Tuesday, Jean-Christophe Fromantin, DVD mayor of Neuilly-sur-Seine, estimated that Eric Zemmour was “only in the past”.
“Politics is both recognizing a past, managing a present and preparing for the future. The problem today is that some politicians are only in the present – a kind of pragmatist – others like Zemmour are only in the past, in nostalgia. Finally, some are only looking to the future,” he said.
“The problem is there: when you do politics, you can’t integrate these three dimensions,” says Jean-Christophe Fromantin.
According to a latest “rolling” Ifop-Fiducial poll, Eric Zemmour is credited with 13.5% in voting intentions, far from Valérie Pécresse (16.5%), Marine Le Pen (17.5%) and the head of the State Emmanuel Macron (24%), far ahead.
