Monday, September 19 was held in Versailles the defamation lawsuit brought against the journalist Ève Szeftel by Jean-Christophe Lagarde, ex-MP, ex-mayor of Drancy, but still president of the UDI. The politician cited two witnesses, two religious, to demonstrate that he could not be a communitarian since he was appreciated by both communities.
“It is said that he frequents Islamist circles or anti-Semitic gangs, I do not know him from this angle”, declares at the bar Hassen Chalgoumi, imam of Drancy and “friend for twenty years” with the complainant, that he did not fail to publicly support during the last election…
