It was June 2022. Jean-Jacques Bourdin was fired from his morning political meeting on RMC And BFMTV, now played by Apolline de Malherbe. He had been removed from the air by the group Altice after twenty years of good and loyal service following accusations by the weather bulletin presenter, Fanny Agostini, of attempted sexual assault. If he had, for his part, denied these accusations, it had changed nothing in his fate. The journalist was therefore welcomed by the editorial staff of South Radio for a daily morning show, on a political interview format similar to his old habits on the 24-hour news channel. Sunday October 29, 2023, he was invited on the set of Mélanie Taravant for the show C mediaon France 5, show during which he discussed several aspects of his career. Jean-Jacques Bourdin also explained want to be at “slap range” of his political guests as in his former media house. To do this, he revealed that he had requested the installation of a new studio configuration to allow face-to-face meetings: “Sud Radio is a radio station that is in full progress. We have just changed premises and I have requested a special face-to-face studio in the new premises.”
