Jean-Louis Trintignant: who is his son Vincent?

The world of cinema is in mourning. Jean-Louis Trintignant died on Friday June 17, 2022, at the age of 91. His wife, Mariane Hoepfner Trintignant confirmed the news of his death and specified that he was died of old age at home located in the Gard. If he died peacefully and accompanied by his relatives, Jean-Louis Trintignant joined his two daughters, who left years earlier.

Indeed, the actor, who interpreted nearly 160 roles in theater and cinema, was the father of three children, born of his relationship with Nadine Trintignant. Marie, born in 1962 and died in 2003, under the blows of her companion, Bertrand Cantat; Pauline, born in 1969 and died at the age of 10 months, following asphyxia linked to regurgitation of milk; and Vincent born in 1973.

Vincent Trintignant became director and producer

Vincent Trintignant was born three years before his parents’ divorce. He grew up on movie sets and has made an appearance at the age of three in The honeymoon, directed by his mother. The latter then married Alain Corneau in 1988 and he is adopted as an adultby the director with the consent of his biological father.

Vincent Trintignant decided to follow the family path by becoming an actor, assistant director, screenwriter then director and producer. The son of Jean-Louis Trintignant has collaborated several times with her mother, Nadine Trintignant as on the TV movie Victory or Women’s Pain. In the latter, his sister Marie is also the main actress. Subsequently, it will also work with his adoptive fathernotably as an assistant director on The blue words and crime of love.
