Filming since January 31 in the Marseille region, the TF1 TV movie Champion, carried by the singer Kendji Girac, will also have in its credits several faces well known to viewers of the channel.

Directed by Mona Achache (Balthazar, HPI) and written by Sabrina Compeyron and Olivier Gorce, this societal unit tells the story of Zack, a young man who seems comfortable in his own skin who works as a carpenter and builds cabins perched in trees with his father.

But his passion is boxing, which he teaches on a voluntary basis. Zack plans to move in with his girlfriend, Marjorie, when his father has a bad fall and falls into a coma. The young boxer then finds himself alone, at the head of the small family business. The shortcomings he thought he had overcome resurface, and as a newcomer, Inès, enters his life, his secret risks being revealed at any moment: Zack is illiterate.

As announced by Télé Star magazine on Monday, it is Aurélie Pons, alias Salomé in Here it all begins, who will lend her features to Marjorie in Champion. And thus inherits what is only the second role of his young career.

And AlloCiné is today able to reveal to you that the character of Inès will be embodied by Hanane El Yousfi, noticed in particular in season 3 of Red Bracelets, in the role of Nour, and in the first season of L school of life last year.

Jean-Michel Tinivelli (Alice Nevers), Lubna Azabal (Braqueurs), François Creton (Engrenages) and the young Keanu Peyran, who plays Pablo, Adrian’s son, in Clem, complete the cast of this unit necessarily highly anticipated by the fans of the singer to whom we owe the hits Color Gitano and Andalusian.

“I finally feel ready! I’ve been using cameras for a few years for my music videos or for TV shows”confided a few weeks ago Kendji Girac at the microphone of Le Parisien about this new television challenge, since he will play comedy for the first time.

“It took me a long time to get comfortable with all that. It was a real job for me. […] I learned over time to relax. I have been preparing for months by taking comedy lessons but also boxing to take up this new challenge which I take very seriously..

After the broadcast of the finale of Alice Nevers last week, Jean-Michel Tinivelli, who will soon be found on France 3 in Simon Coleman, continues his collaboration with TF1. As for Aurélie Pons, she should logically be temporarily absent from Here everything begins for the purposes of this TV movie but does not leave the successful daily soap opera, unlike Clément Rémiens and Lucia Passaniti.
