After an All-Stars season splashed with numerous cases of cheating, Koh Lanta made a comeback on TF1 this Tuesday, February 22. For this new season, the production has integrated 12 men and 12 women, all anonymous, to return to the fundamentals of the program. And this first episode was marked by several new features: the cursed totem, which will be present throughout the entire season, and the creation of a third tribe. From the first event, two adventurers imposed themselves by winning it. Jean-Philippe and Alexandra became the first clan leaders and appointed the discreet Céline to manage the third team. And the first two winners were quickly unsupported by Internet users.

During the composition of her blue team, Alexandra was very directive and posted a clear opinion on the team she wanted, not hesitating to point out the age of the other adventurers. As for Jean-Philippe, his portrait in which he presents himself as “confident” quickly annoyed viewers. “I don’t mind going to the clash to be able to impose my ideas, because I am convinced that they are generally the best”he explained facing the camera before adding: “With me, there are no half measures, either I am jealous or idolized. Either I annoy or they adore me.” On Twitter, fans of the adventure game let loose and were not kind to Jean-Philippe and Alexandra.
If the two team leaders were the pet peeves of this first evening of Koh Lanta, Internet users all agreed on one point: Céline had the most endearing personality of the three chefs. Unfortunately, she was eliminated during this first episode.
