Jean-Pierre Foucault pays tribute to his lifelong “accomplice”
Usually rather discreet on social networks, the host took over his account Twitter Tuesday, September 5, 2023 to announce sad news. Jean-Pierre Foucault has revealed that a man, who had counted a lot in his career as an animator, had just passed away. “My soundman accomplice Roger Van Klaveren, in the days of RMC Radio-Monte-Carlo left us this morning, I owe him my best hours live on the transmitting motorcycle throughout France… May he rest in peace…”, he wrote. Jean-Pierre Foucault has also published an archive photo on which we can see the famous Roger Van Klaveren at Gap airport. On his side, Jean-Pierre Foucault had a fright this summer, given that he was the victim of “two small cardiac arrests” in July 2023. Having felt “a strong chest tightness”, he was rushed to hospital. “Once there, I couldn’t climb the few steps that separated me from the front door. I lay down on the ground, in the garden, and we called the emergency services. They then told me not to move, had explained the presenter during an interview granted to Doctissimo.
