Former emblematic presenter of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? on TF1, Jean-Pierre Foucault handed over control of the program to Camille Combal a few years ago. However, Arthur has made no secret of his desire to host the game in the future.
Historic face of TF1, Jean-Pierre Foucault presented many cult shows on the air of the first channel over the years. Among the latter, we can notably cite the cult game Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? At the head of the program for many years, the host had made the decision to entrust the presentation of the show to Camille Combal, shortly after the arrival of Cyril Hanouna’s former columnist on TF1. If Who wants to be a millionaire? has not been broadcast on the first channel for quite a while, Arthur has not hidden his desire to relaunch the formattaking the lead in the game himself.
“I would present ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’ with relish. I will also propose it to TF1. I’ve been a guest on the show maybe 20 times, I’d love to be on the other side“, revealed the host of TF1 during an interview with the site Puremedias.com. During this same interview, Arthur revealed that he would like relaunch his old cult game Take it or leave it, to celebrate 20 years of the program this year. “I would think it would be fun to do it again. I think I would feel the same feeling as when once a year, with Manu Lévy for Restos du coeur, we’re redoing our radio show from 25 or 30 years ago (“Arthur and the Pirates”, broadcast in the 1990s on Europe 1, editor’s note) If there is a 20th anniversary event, I would be happy to participate“, did he declare.
