Jean-Pierre Foucault victim of a cardiac arrest, the host admitted to intensive care

Big fright for Jean-Pierre Foucault. In April 2023, the host-star of the Miss France competition suffered a cardiac arrest, in front of his house in Carry-le-Rouet (Bouches-du-Rhône). The septuagenarian collapsed in his garden, before being admitted to intensive care. Several symptoms alerted Jean-Pierre Foucault: “It is the strong chest pain that immediately made me think of cardiac arrest. The other detail that alerted me was that I could no longer put on my shoes before taking the plane: my feet were swollen.” Rescued by firefighters, he was able to choose to be transferred to a hospital not far from his home. “The surgeons then uncorked a stent [un tube qui maintient les artères ouvertes, NDLR]Then I was admitted to the intensive care unit. Two cardiac arrests

The care team also told her thathe suffered not one, but two cardiac arrests : one in his garden, and a second in the emergency room.
