Jeanne Mas soon back in France? Since 2005, the iconic singer of the 1980s has been installed in the United States, in the state of Arizona. An exile in the country of Uncle Sam, decided to try to escape his great popularity and regain a little anonymity. “I needed to find myself, to restart my life incognito, to be appreciated for who I am”she confided in an interview with Télé 7 Jours in 2014.
But after so many years away from her country, the famous interpreter ofIn red and black may soon return. Guest of Eric Dussart and Jade this Saturday April 23 on the show We redo the TV on RTL, Jeanne Mas was asked about this life on the other side of the Atlantic. “Do you sometimes think about coming back to live in France?, asked the presenter. “Yes of course. I would like to come back to France”replied the singer.
Jeanne Mas: “I have already sold everything in the United States”
“What’s stopping you?“, wished to know Éric Dussart. “I’m afraid of the lack of freedom, and maybe that’s what blocks me a little. But I often think about itsaid Jeanne Mas before adding: “I find that in France we live very well and we are very human. This is perhaps what I miss the most in the United States. I’m here mainly for my son.”
The facilitator then wished to know if she thought of staying at least 20 years in the United States, or if she would have already returned before. “Nope, I have already sold everything in the United States. So at the moment I don’t know”, revealed Jeanne Mas. “So you’ve never been so close to coming back to France?”immediately reacted Éric Dussart. “In Europe…maybe… but at the same time I love Arizona, and I love my son. So it’s going to be difficult. It’s a challenge. We will speak again”concluded the singer.
