Jennifer Garner
That’s how difficult it was to raise her and Ben Affleck’s children
Being a parent isn’t easy, Jennifer Garner knows that too. The actress now reveals what is currently the most difficult for her when it comes to raising children.
Jennifer Garner: “It’s hard”
In an interview with “People,” the actress is very reflective and open. When it comes to accompanying the children on their journey without constantly intervening, Jennifer Garner apparently has some difficulties. “It’s really hard for me not to say, ‘That’s how I see you’ and ‘I think you should,'” she says on the subject. Her own parents have always kept a low profile with her and never interfered in her plans. She is very impressed by this because she now has to prove this patience herself. Keeping your feet still is not easy.
They are slowly growing up
The reason for this revelation from the 51-year-old is that her children are slowly growing up and starting to think about their future. “I’m just looking at them in this new phase of life where they’re trying to figure out who they’re going to be and what they want to study,” she adds. She wanted to experience all of this very consciously and closely. “I’m so interested in them. All the time I’m interested in everything they are.” A fact that many parents can certainly relate to, because with these first major decisions comes independence and that is “so hard,” as the actress notes.
She is proud of her children
Back in November 2023, Jennifer Garner spoke about her children’s big milestones on “Live with Kelly and Mark”. At the time, college was on the agenda for her daughter Violet. Even then she raved about her daughter and reiterated how proud she is of her eldest. “The excitement and the stress go hand in hand, but she handles it like a pro and she’s in total control,” she explained at the time. In a few years this big change will probably also affect her youngest children, but Jennifer Garner will certainly be able to deal with that well too.
