Bill Gates' daughter got her first dose of vaccine against Covid-19 and took the opportunity to make a little joke.

Jennifer Gates (24), daughter of Bill Gates (65), has been vaccinated against the coronavirus – and used the occasion to call on her 367,000 followers to find out about the vaccination. The medical student wrote on Instagram that mRNA vaccination could now teach her cells to develop a protective immune response to the Sars-CoV-2 coronavirus.

She also advised anyone with the option of vaccination to seriously consider it for themselves and their families. Society becomes safer the more people are vaccinated. You could not thank the physicists, scientists, health specialists, pharmacists and everyone else who made this achievement of medicine possible.

At the end of her post, she also discussed one of the most famous – and most absurd – conspiracy theories about vaccines: It says that Bill Gates would penetrate people's brains via a nanochip in the vaccine in order to control them from there. The 65-year-old's daughter said: "Unfortunately the vaccine did not implant my genius father in my brain – if only mRNA had this power …!"
