Jennifer Lauret (Tomorrow belongs to us): “Stanislas is not here by chance, he needs Raphaëlle”

Raphaëlle’s love story, played by Jennifer Lauret, takes a new turn. Her father, her best friend and her daughter try to open her eyes to the true personality of Stanislas, her companion, played by Yannick Laurent. The greater will be his disappointment. To see from Monday to Friday at 7:10 p.m. on TF1.

Jennifer Lauret: “It’s going to explode but love is stronger than anything”

How has Raphaëlle been since she met Stanislas?

JENNIFER LAURET: She is on her little cloud. She lives her story thoroughly without paying attention to the hiccups. She so wants to believe it! And then, Stanislas is delightful, he covers her with attentions. It had been a long time since a man had taken care of her like that. It galvanizes her.

Why is Stanislas in Sète?

If I told you, I would spoil… Let’s say there is an issue. He is not there by chance. He needs her and we’re going to find out why.

Does this plot confirm the adage that love is blind?

Absolutely ! When you see Raphaëlle sure of herself, independent, fighter… You can’t imagine that such a woman can let herself be taken in to the point of becoming a man’s modeling clay. He does with her what he wants. He isolates her and even manages to climb Camille against her.

What will happen between mother and daughter?

Even if they love each other very much, they lose all their bearings and no longer understand each other. It will explode but love is stronger than anything, especially between a mother and her children.

What role will Chloe play?

She will do everything to ease tensions and play mediators. It’s always a pleasure to work with Ingrid (Chauvinist, editor’s note). My meeting with her is a real revelation. She is unparalleled kindness and generosity. We both discovered a lot in common.

How will Raphaëlle bounce back after this intrigue?

She will go through a reconstruction phase that will require a deep personal questioning. But, even if she discovers weaknesses, especially emotional ones, she still has resources.

And how do you view your fictional daughters?

Elisa Ezzedine (Camille), it’s a candy. She is pretty as a heart, bubbly and always ready to learn and progress. Sixtine Dutheil (Maud) is also very professional but no longer in doubt, whereas she is bright and very fair. I cuddle her a lot and I tend to eat her a little like I eat my own daughters.

You are a mother of four girls. Do any of them want to do the same job as you?

Ana, who is 12 years old, played the role of Raphaëlle as a child at the time of the plot with Victoria April. It made him laugh. They are all four, I think, quite proud of what I do but I don’t think this job stands in their way.

Elisa Ezzedine: “Camille has every reason to freak out”

How does Camille, your character, welcome Stanislas, her mother’s companion?

ELISA EZZEDINE: Initially, she adores him because she sees her mother happy thanks to him. So she has no reason to be suspicious.

What will trigger his suspicion towards her?

The day when Camille brings back Dorian home and the four of them have dinner, Stanislas’ attitude changes. He will germinate doubt in Raphaëlle’s mind about the education she gives to her daughter. He will claim that Dorian is cheating on Camille… Slowly, he will manipulate everyone in such a way as to isolate Raphaëlle more and more. Of course he has something in mind. Camille is not fooled. She knows that Stanislas is lying but her mother refuses to see what is happening. She is too much in love.

What emotions will she be going through?

She will be scared, then feel helpless because she has no solution to get her mother out of there. Their relationship will suffer to the point that they will get angry. We had big fight scenes with Jennifer. Camille has every reason to freak out. In fact, I found this way of reversing the roles, of seeing the daughter trying to protect the mother, to be very interesting. It was very intense. I worked every day with coaches so as not to miss out on emotions. It taught me a lot.

Like Camille, are you addicted to networks?

I use them but I’m not addicted. What I like is sharing my daily life on set in my stories (on Instagram, editor’s note). The atmosphere is so amazing.

What memories do you have of high school?

I loved the first and the final! Despite the stress of the baccalaureate, it was great because everything was carefree and lighthearted.

Where is your musical project?

I’m releasing my first single in June. It will be something of the order of modern disco, very 1980s, with a surprise featuring.

Where does this disco culture come from?

From my father, I imagine. He is also a fan ofEddy Mitchell and of Gainsbourg. It is also in reference to one of his songs that I have this first name. Me, my ultimate singer is Jacques Brel. I only listen to old songs.
