Rumors circulated over the weekend that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodríguez were breaking up. Now the couple met in the Caribbean.
Jennifer Lopez (51, "Manhattan Queen") and Alex Rodríguez (45) caused a lot of confusion over the weekend. Following media reports about an alleged separation of the showbiz dream couple, Rodríguez said he was not single. As the "People" magazine claims to have learned from a source, "J. Lo" and "A-Rod" celebrated a "happy reunion" in the Caribbean shortly afterwards.
"They're really trying to fix things"
According to the person close to Lopez, the former professional baseball player "flew to the Dominican Republic" on Sunday (March 14). "Jennifer was excited to see him in person. You're really trying to fix things." Both should "work on their relationship", the meeting described the source as "joyful".
A video that he uploaded to his Instagram story on Monday morning (March 15) proves that Alex Rodríguez really did travel to the Caribbean. In it you can see the sea and a Caribbean resort. He wrote: "Happy Monday. New week. New day. Forward. Upward."
Shortly after the US media reports about the separation of Lopez and Rodríguez, the 45-year-old ex-athlete denied it. "I'm not, no," he replied in a clip published by TMZ, in which a reporter asked him if he was single. And could it be said that he and Lopez are working on their relationship? "Yes," was Rodríguez's simple answer.

Most recently, "TMZ", "People" and other media reported that the couple had declared in a joint message that they were "working on a few things". An anonymous source told the magazine that the two "never officially separated" and were "still together".
