Jennifer Lopez (50, "Let's Get Loud") has made a name for herself as a singer, but recently was more active as an actress. Apparently that should change again. On Thursday evening, the 50-year-old spread the first clues via Instagram that fans might be able to expect new music from her soon.
In leather shorts on the microphone
The artist shows several pictures in the recording studio. She wrote: "It is summer and we are working on something very hot." Lopez did not tell her more than 125 million followers for the time being. The fact that some of her captions change to Spanish leaves room for speculation: will her Puerto Rican roots play a role in the new project? It is clear that the 50-year-old "can hardly wait until you hear what we are working on".
Lopez 'last album "A.K.A." was released in June 2014. Since then she has released one or the other single, but increasingly concentrated on her acting career. She has appeared in the US crime series "Shades of Blue" as well as in the two movies "Manhattan Queen" and "Hustlers". In February 2020, she made a musical highlight together with Shakira (43) at the half-time show of the Super Bowl LIV in Miami.
