Federal Minister of Health Jens Spahn (41, CDU) has received his booster vaccination against the corona virus. He shared that on Thursday via Twitter with. Regarding two photos that show him vaccinating and talking to the medical staff, he explains: “After I recovered from Covid-19 a dose of vaccine in May I got my booster vaccination today. “
As minister he also used the post beyond personal matters and announced: “I am pleased that yesterday we achieved a daily record with over 100,000 booster vaccinations.” And he added: “My request to everyone: Get information now & boost your vaccination protection!”
Jens Spahn had Corona a year ago
Jens Spahn had tested positive for the corona virus a year ago, in October 2020. As the Ministry of Health announced at the time, he only had cold symptoms. Spahn’s husband Daniel Funke (40) was also infected. In contrast to Spahn, however, he was symptom-free.
