Jeremy Renner has revealed in an Instagram post that he has broken more than 30 bones as a result of the serious snow plow accident.

Marvel star Jeremy Renner (52) gave an update on his health via Instagram and at the same time made clear the extent of his serious snow plow accident. Renner posted a photo of him lying in his hospital bed at his Nevada home, where he is continuing to recover after being discharged from the hospital a few days ago. A physiotherapist is working on the star’s right leg in the recording.

“Morning workouts, my resolutions have changed a lot for this year,” Renner writes. Then he names the number of fractures he has suffered: “These more than 30 broken bones will all grow back together and be stronger than before. Just as the love and connection to my family and friends deepens.” He also wanted to once again “thank everyone for the messages and the sympathy for my family and me”.

“Avengers” colleague Chris Hemsworth (39) commented on the picture with a few encouraging words: “You’re a champion, buddy! We love you.” “Send you love,” wrote Heidi Klum (49), among others.

Probably narrowly escaped death

The 52-year-old was seriously injured in the accident at the beginning of the year. As the responsible sheriff later announced, Renner had been run over by his own snowcat on New Year’s Day on his mountainside property a few miles from Lake Tahoe. He is said to have previously tried to free a family member’s car that got stuck after a heavy snowstorm.

When he noticed that the seven-ton vehicle had started to roll when he had briefly got out, Renner is said to have tried to jump back in. According to the sheriff, that’s when the actor was pulled over and suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries. Due to the previous snowstorm, the emergency services had trouble getting to the scene of the accident. The star could only be flown to the hospital and operated on about an hour after the emergency call.
