Jessica Alba has learned a lot about herself and her body in the past few months: It doesn't always have to be extreme work-out.

A slender Jessica Alba (39, "Professor Love") in a white bikini adorns the new issue of the fitness magazine "Women's Health". In the accompanying interview, the actress explains how much work is behind her dream body. She trains up to four times a week in her in-house gym, occasionally adding one or two Pilates workouts.

In fact, Alba has already scaled down her fitness program. Before the corona pandemic, she did a lot more sport, she says. Why? The actress said she had to "sweat her weight in water, my muscles had to fail and I had to feel like I had just run a marathon". This is how she trained. When the public gyms closed, their routine was broken – as well as their training views.

Happy with a healthy mix

Alba realized that she didn't always have to give one hundred percent. A walk is also good for your body. "I've learned to mix it up and not feel like a failure if I don't kill myself," explained the actress. When it comes to nutrition, consistently avoid alcohol and eat purely plant-based meals four days a week. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, however, everything is allowed.
