Jessica Biel: The secret pregnancy was by no means planned
In an interview as part of the podcast “Armchair Expert” by Dax Shepard, 46, Jessica Biel became unusually private. “I almost had a secret COVID baby,” revealed the 39-year-old on Monday (June 14, 2021). She further explains that it happened more by chance: “It wasn’t that it should be a secret. COVID just happened. I went to Montana with my family and didn’t come back.” Jessica and Justin’s second child was born in Montana.
Justin Timberlake was present at the birth
For a short time, the “Sinner” actress had to struggle with some worries, as probably every pregnant woman. Jessica Biel explains that in the meantime she was afraid of having to bring the baby into the world alone, after all, accompanying persons were forbidden in the hospital – even during births. “There was a time when nobody was allowed to do it at all and I was really nervous about it,” said the 39-year-old. Ultimately, everything went well and Justin Timberlake was allowed to be there when his second son Phineas was born. “Yes, he was there. I think if I had to be there alone it would have been terrible. I would have been really scared.”
Phineas keeps everyone busy
Phineas is now almost a year old and keeps his entire family busy. In January the musician joked on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show”: “He’s really great and so cute. Nobody sleeps. But we are so excited and couldn’t be happier. We are so grateful.”
