Jessica Chastain was the eye-catcher of the evening at the Venice Film Festival in her sequin dress. But during the day she wore protest clothing.
The 46-year-old demonstrated at the 80th Venice International Film Festival that she would not cross the picket line. This year, only a handful of independent productions have permission to be advertised by their stars, including Jessica Chastain, who was allowed to promote her film “Memory”, and “Ferrari” actor Adam Driver (39).
Sparkling star of the evening
At the film premiere that evening, her stylists and make-up artists pulled out all the stops to make Jessica Chastain the absolute eye-catcher on the red carpet. The actress dazzled in a rose gold sequin dress with a collar and a deep V-neck. She accessorized with diamond drop earrings and a series of gold rings. The hair was styled into a side parting and laid in loose Hollywood waves, and the make-up was glamorous.
The US star posed for the photographers with Mexican director Michael Franco (44) and US co-lead actor Peter Sarsgaard (52).
