We had to wait until the last second of this regular Spring Split season in the LEC to see the very first Pentakill of the season arrive on League of Legends, signed Jezu, the Frenchman from SK Gaming.

Whereas the LEC regular season in this Spring Split ended yesterday, we had to wait for this third and last day of this 8th week of competition before seeing the very first Pentakill of this 2022 season to arrive. For this third day, we found in the opening match the Misfits against SK Gaming. After a match where the Rabbits did not seem very present, quickly getting overpowered and leaving control to SK, so this team wins. During this meeting, Jezu, SK Gaming’s French botlaner came to shake up the European League of Legends community by pulling off the LEC’s first-ever Pentakill this season.

Jezu, who was playing Kalista in this encounter, achieved this Pentakill as the two teams began to coalesce around Baron Nashor. After recovering the latter from the SK side, he took advantage of the buff to chain kills within the teamfight, very well assisted by his teammates. In addition to this Penta, he ends the game with a score of 13/3/8. A magnificent action therefore for SK Gaming, who unfortunately can only use it to console themselves. The team, at the end of this regular Spring Split season, did not obtain sufficient results to qualify for the playoffs and will therefore only play again in the Summer Split on League of Legends.

As a reminder, the very first Pentakill of the LoL season, in all competitions, is signed Agresivooand it happened… in LFL at Team BDS against Solary on January 13. The LFL, which has already had two this year, the second being signed Rekkles with Karmine Corp.
