Warzone specialist JGOD recently revealed the best class of Season 1’s new weapon, the Welgun submachine gun while claiming that it is more powerful than the MP40.
The Warzone Pacific Season 1 Reloaded update has finally arrived and it’s safe to say the patch has shaken up the meta. Along with a variety of important bug fixes, a brand new weapon has been added to the game, the Welgun submachine gun.
And from the first moments, players quickly noticed that this new weapon had a lethal TTK and impressive mobility.
The game specialist, JGOD has therefore looked into this submachine gun, and he thinks he has found a specific class of the Welgun that has the potential to become the new best weapon at close range.

The above JGOD class focuses on improving the overall damage of the Welgun while increasing the weapon’s rate of fire and bullet speed.
It achieves this in particular by combining the rate of fire of the Gawain Short 120mm and the speed of the bullets of the 64-round 9mm Drum Magazines.
On top of that, the addition of the Fast perk allows you to aggressively dash into enemies and take them down in seconds with the Incendiary ammo.
Finally, the Tape Grip and the M1941 Handguard will ensure you always get your shots right and give your weapon an extra level of stability.
Comparing the Welgun to the MP-40, JGOD revealed that the above class has an overall faster TTK. However, it depends on the consistency of your upper body shots to maximize weapon damage.
