Proud mother of twins on a birthday trip to Japan

Jennifer Lopez is super proud: She is on a birthday trip to Japan with her twins Emme and Max. The two made the Sweet 16.
Jennifer Lopez (54) is as proud as Bolle: her twins Emme and Max celebrated their 16th birthday on Thursday (February 22nd). And twin mom JLo posted several sweet birthday videos, as People magazine reports. The three are currently on a birthday trip to Japan and seem to be enjoying their family trip to the Far East, as the videos impressively prove.
Exciting birthday for three
The twins Emme and Max come from Lopez’s marriage to singer and ex-husband Marc Anthony (55), to whom she was married from 2004 to 2014. In a video montage from yesterday’s birthday, Lopez can be heard saying from behind the camera, “I’ve never seen Max so excited,” to which Emme adds, “I’ve never seen myself so excited.” To Lopez’s song “Hummingbird,” the video then pans to daughter Emme, who is giggling and holding a few piglets. The camera pans to Max sitting down to eat with a friend.
She calls Max and Emme her “coconuts”
JLo affectionately calls her twins her “Coconuts”. This is shown by several of the world star’s posts decorated with little hearts. On their trip to Japan, Max, Emme and Jennifer appear together in colorful kimonos or working with a mortar and pestle. Lopez wears a floral, mint-colored kimono with a pink sash and turquoise accessories in her hair. The three birthday vacationers are clearly enjoying their time away from home in the Far East.
“It is my pleasure”
JLo proudly kisses her now 16-year-old “coconuts” on the cheek in one of the Japan photos. In a 2022 interview with People magazine, Lopez spoke about the twins’ aging. “They’re venturing out, they’re their own individuals. And we’re just trying to keep up with them,” she said at the time. “That’s the path you have to take,” she added. And: “It’s a joy for me.” The pictures from our birthday trip together can only underline this.
