Jochen Schropp (43) will be accompanied by TV cameras during a colon mirror from the preparation to the debriefing of the examination for “Akt. Das #MutMachSpecial”. Jochen Schropp: investigation is “only half as wild”

The moderator, who himself lost his father to cancer, wants to use the campaign to encourage people to take precautions, which according to Schropp can “save lives”. “Examinations and visits to the doctor scare a lot of people. I want to show our viewers that it’s not all that bad!”

The “Akte.” special can be seen on Thursday, February 10 at 10:15 p.m. on Sat.1 and on Joyn. It is part of the Sat.1 “#MutMachWoche” on World Cancer Day on February 4th. From Friday to Friday, the station focuses on the topic of living with cancer in magazines and reports.

Schropp had already campaigned for cancer prevention on the VOX show “Showtime of my Life – Stars against Cancer” in early 2021. “My father and my grandfather died of cancer. When I heard that there was going to be a show about it, I wanted to take part right away,” the moderator said in an interview with spot on news. In the show, a second season has already been announced for February, eight prominent women and men dropped their covers. Schropp explained: “The important message is combined with fun: if we can undress in front of an audience of millions, then you can do the same at the doctor’s.”
