"Tiger King" Joe Exotic leaves no stone unturned to convince Donald Trump of a pardon. Kim Kardashian should also help.

Joe Exotic (57) apparently hopes that Kim Kardashian (40, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians") will get him out of jail. The ex-zoo owner, known from the Netflix show "Tiger King" ("Big Cats and Their Predators"), is serving a 22-year sentence – among other things, because he is said to have hired a man to target his arch enemy Carole Baskin (59) to murder. Now he has written a letter to Kardashian in which he asks if she could help him to request a pardon from US President Donald Trump (74), reports "Entertainment Tonight".

"I know that you have never met me and maybe you never want to, but I believe that the values of our judicial system are important to you," Joe Exotic is said to have written. "Please help me by taking ten minutes and calling President Trump to review my 257-page pardon." It's all the evidence of his innocence. Trump should pardon him so that he can return home to his husband Dillon Passage and his father, Exotic continued.

Kardashian is a fan of the documentary

In 2018, Kardashian successfully campaigned for President Trump to get Alice Marie Johnson, 65, who was serving a life sentence without parole for drug offenses, out of prison. Joe Exotic, whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage, now also wants to get out with her help. The 40-year-old seems to be at least a big fan of the Netflix documentary "Tiger King". Even her Halloween costume was inspired by the TV show.

Joe Exotic's team has been active for a long time to obtain a pardon from the outgoing US president. As a supporter of the TV star reported to the US celebrity portal "TMZ", he and his team have already had several conversations with Trump's staff in Washington D.C. regarding a pardon. Accordingly, Maldonado Passages chances are not bad and one is "in good spirits". In fact, there is even a stretch limousine ready at any time to pick up Joe Exotic after an early release.

Joe Exotic asked Donald Trump for a pardon in a handwritten letter in early September. His main argument: Before all the fame, he was just a "gay, gun-bearing redneck in Oklahoma" who did not get a "fair trial". "Allow me to make you proud, to make America proud, to make the world proud. Please be my hero," the letter also reads. Even before the letter, Trump had announced that he would "take a look at the matter".

A star since March

The eight-part documentary "Big Cats and Their Predators", first broadcast in March 2020, is about Joe Exotic, who ran a private big cat zoo in the USA, and his feud with the unyielding animal activist Carole Baskin. Baskin won in the end: Joe Exotic was sentenced to 22 years in prison. Baskin got her archenemy's animal enclosure assigned by a court order.
